Re-decorating a space in your home can be so exciting, the thought of re-designing and giving your space a new look. You can choose art work, colours and furnishings you want to use to put your own unique stamp on your home interior.

Over the past month I have had new carpet fitted and my family gave my walls a fresh lick of paint and I am looking forward to a new  desk that I have ordered. I am so excited for the new desk space. So when the lovely people at Photowall reached out and offered me a free print from their collection and to share my thoughts I was more than happy to do it.

Photowall are a Swedish company that produce environmentally friendly wall murals and canvas prints and have a huge range of designs, They also offer wallpaper and posters. When I visited their website I saw the London Skyline Rainbow canvas and I fell in love with it and knew it would make a great statement piece for my bedroom wall. I have been trying to live more sustainably and choosing this brand helps me to do that.

I chose this print because I love London. I have so many fond memories of concerts with my siblings and my mum, going to see so many of our favourite bands. I also shared a season ticket to Tottenham with my little brother and we would take it in turns to go to football matches with my dad. I love riding the tube, the sights and the atmosphere.

Their canvas prints are made from 100% cotton and can come with or without a DIY 29mm thick frame, I recommend getting their frames. They even give you the option to upload your own image and have it made into a canvas print, it is a great way to display your own photography and add your own personal touch to your home décor.

I ordered my canvas and it came quicker than I expected, especially considering it had travelled all the way from Sweden. The print came rolled up with the frame in the box separately, which kept my print from being damaged. Not going to lie, when I clicked yes to a DIY frame, I was a bit apprehensive, but I never needed to worry. It comes with a set of instructions which are clear and have diagrams.

You must place the canvas print face down, make sure you have a clean floor as you don’t want anything ruining your beautiful new print. The frame comes with adhesive sides, all you have to do is peel off the seal and press down.

I currently have my print above my bed, it brings a pop of colour, as my bedroom is black and white monochrome and felt it needed some colour. Not sure if I will keep it there or place it above my desk when it arrives. Watch this space! I went for the 100cm x 100cm sized print.

This print looks beautiful and really adds a pop of colour to my bedroom wall. The canvas feels high quality and is a durable material. It was super simple to set up and can add so much style to your home interior when you are on a budget.

Have you ever brought a canvas from Photowall before? Do you like the print I have chosen? I’d love to hear in the comments.
