February Favourites |

I can’t believe how fast February has gone by, as it seemed like January lasted so long. I hope you have had a great February. I have had my birthday and lots of birthday treats as well as starting my slimming world journey so this month has been a busy one for me. I thought I would share with you some of the things I have been loving this month.

So lets get started….

Dr Pepper zero & Slimming World hi-fi light rocky road bars

Since joining Slimming World this month I have had to switch from full fat fizzy drinks to diet/zero fizzy drinks. Dr Pepper zero is one of the drinks sugar free that to me doesn’t taste nasty haha! So when I need a caffeine pick me up, I have been drinking these. The hi-fi bars, I am allowed as part of the diet or as syns outside of the plan. (If you would like me to write a post about my slimming world journey, be sure to comment and let me know).

Body Soufflé – Millie Mackintosh’s range

For my birthday this month, I was gifted by my grandparents a Millie Mackintosh range set and I was pleasantly surprised by the products. This set also came with a small copper candle, which you might be able to spot in some of the pictures on my blog. The packaging is so pretty and smells incredible. In this cold weather my skin can get really dry, so I have been reaching for this more. This lotion is so hydrating, not sticky and leaves such a nice scent.

Lush DADDY-O purple shampoo

I love this shampoo, to be honest I like most products from Lush. I had tried a small bottle and loved it so I brought the biggest bottle they do. It smells so good. It lathers up really well, washes out easily and it leaves my hair so soft and shiny. It is definitely one of my favourites to use, as my hair is so manageable after using it. I would recommend.

The Body Shop Tea Tree skin clearing foaming cleanser

I absolutely love the scent tea tree, I think it’s because my mum loves this scent and I always remember her wearing it when I was younger and buying sets for her as gifts. As this cleanser is a foam, you only need a small amount at a time, so it lasts a lot longer. It leaves my skin soft and I noticed a real difference. Redness from blemishes faded, it is a product that I will purchase again.

Bourjois healthy mix shade no. 52 Vanilla

I love this foundation! It has great full coverage that I find easily build able. It leaves a lovely glow. This foundation for me lasts all day, which was a nice surprise (as the only other foundation I have found lasts all day for me is the Estée Lauder double wear foundation). However, this foundation is a lot more affordable. It is my definite go-to foundation at the moment.

NCIS

This is a very random favourite. I used to watch the show, but recently started watching it again and fallen back in love. I love crime shows like these.

These are the few things I have been loving this month. What have you been loving this February?

  1. Lol I’m not a big fan of soda but I cannot deny my love for Dr. Pepper, I’ve actually never tasted their diet one but I know how most diet soda taste so I understand what you mean. That bar looks sooooo yummy 🤤 I love body shop products, I see so many great reviews for their tea tree collection. Thanks for sharing your faves Lauren 💕

  2. The Rocky Road bars look delicious, I’m such a sucker for anything sweet!
Loving your favourites – Lush and The Body Shop always do the best products. I haven’t tried that specific shampoo but I’m a huge fan of some of their others and I practically live in TBS creams and cleansers, they are SO good for this horribly cold weather and keeping skin hydrated and glowy 🙂
Also love that foundation. We have a lot in common it seems! Thanks for sharing, hehe.

  3. Belated Happy Birthday to you! 🙂
Good luck with your Slimming World Journey! I don’t so it anymore but I still make diet coke chicken all the time – one of the best things I got from it lol
I’ve been on the hunt for a new shampoo that isn’t full of rubbish, I think I’ll give Daddy-O a shot, thanks for posting about it because I probably wouldn’t have thought of it otherwise.
I totally unashamedly addicted to NCIS LA & Blindspot so I’m with you on the crime show thing. The break for the Olympics has been torture! haha

  4. I’ve heard so much about the tea tree range from The Body Shop, and I’ve been tempted to try it out for a while. I love foaming cleansers. I used one for a while, but it went missing when I left it in the downstairs bathroom, and I haven’t bought one since. I’m definitely going to bare this one in mind for the future, though! I also like the idea of switching caffenated drinks for zero sugar alternatives. The Dr Pepper you tried looks amazing! Where did you get it from? I’m definitely going to have to try that one myself at some point.

  5. Oh I haven’t heard of the Lush DADDY-O purple shampoo. I’ve been using a purple conditioner but I tend to forget to use it as much as I should. I think I’ll need to make a lush trip to check it out soon 🙂
