I have been away from my blog for a little while as since my work accident. I have been doing my physio exercises, going to the doctors and having an MRI on my knee. I am in a lot of pain and I can’t wait for my knee to be fixed.
As I have been a way from my blog for a while so I thought I would reflect on these past few months and goals I want to work on for 2018. I cannot believe how fast this year is going, we are nearly at the end of May?
Positive Things That Have Happened In The Past Few Months:
February 11th was my 28th birthday and I has a wonderful birthday. I turned 27 this year and I had a wonderful birthday. I spent it with my family and my close friends. I was very fortunate to receive so much love on my birthday and thoughtful gifts.
I have been really lucky to have worked with 2 brands. I was gifted 2 cute phone cases from Cover My Bits and a range of beautiful stationery products from Say Nice Things that made my inner stationery addict super happy. I was lucky enough to meet Andy from the brand in person, we were able to talk all things stationery and see all the different products in person.
I have made some lovely friends within this blogging community, so many people are supportive and there for advice and useful tips. I have also become great friends with others at work which makes work so much more enjoyable. I have also reconnected with old friends. It is so important to me that I surround myself with people who are a positive influence and who bring light. I have realised over the years, its okay if you don’t want to continue with a toxic friendship. Life is way too short to waste time with the wrong people.
I have hit 6K on my twitter, which is amazing and so grateful to everyone who follows me over there.
My goals for the rest of 2018:
- Keep up with my physio exercises
- Reach 6.5K on twitter
- I want to reach 1.2K followers on my blog
- I want to work with another stationery brand
- I would like to also build my Instagram
My main focus is improving my knee and getting rid of the pain so I can move on with my life.
It is important to set goals because they help you to focus on improving your personal life and other areas of your life. Challenging yourself helps you to build confidence and self-esteem. If you struggle with sticking to your goals, you may not be setting achievable goals and this is something you need to really to consider. Using a goal planner can be really helpful to keep you motivated and organised when you are working towards a goal.
