Originally Demi Lovato was performing at the London O2 on Sunday 10th June and that was the date I went to the STEPS Summer tour concert, however luckily for me (not poor Demi) she was poorly and had to reschedule. So being the huge Demi fan that I am I decided to book two tickets straight away. They weren’t the best seats, however I was so happy to be able to go and see her. I decided to take my baby sister and surprise her with it, she was so excited – Demi Lovato concert and an afternoon off school, win win for her haha!
We had quite an eventful train journey to London. I have been loving this beautiful weather, however it is definitely not fun to travel in! There was an accident near one station and then problems with tracks further along on our journey because of the heat. But we arrived in London, had some food in the sun before heading into the venue.
Demi had JOY and Jax Jones supporting her. JOY has a lovely voice. Jax Jones played such a great set and got the whole arena dancing, jumping and clapping along. There was such a good energy. It was my little sisters first time in a big arena and she loved it!
Demi was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Her voice, her outfits were just amazing! I love when you go to see an artist you have listened too for such a long time and they sound amazing live and not like a different person. Her stage set up was amazing with huge screens that would have different videos on and flashing lights. In between some songs and outfit changes there was also video clips of her talking about various things. Also Jax Jones came on stage and they performed their song Instruction. It was amazing!
On our way home we had a delay of an hour at another stop for our connecting train, we finally arrived home early hours of the morning. It was totally worth it, it was incredible! I will definitely see her on her next tour.
What is the best or worst concert you have ever been too?
My best concert ever must’ve been Bruce Springsteen 2 years ago. I’ve never seen him before but just love he’s songs. The experience is something I will never forget

Looks like a lot of fun! I went to see Demi once before in Charlotte, NC. It’s been awhile. Little Mix and Fifth Harmony were the opening acts, it was a blast! (:

Love it! I hope one day I’ll get to see her.
As for me, my best concert was Florida Georgia Line. A country/pop band. It was pretty fun!
Again so jealous!

It sounds like you had a fantastic time (other than the train problems 🙈). I imagine it was an incredible show and such a nice experience for you & your baby sister 💖. I saw Robbie Williams at Wembley a few years ago which was awesome and one of my favourite concerts so far ☺️. Great post Lauren and thanks for sharing! 😘 xx

I love the O2 arena, wish I could get to see more concerts there, one of the best venues I’ve been to!

I have actually never been to a concert. Most of them are very far away unfortunately! They seem like so much fun though!

Travelling in London is a nightmare especially when you have somewhere to be. I’m so glad you had a good time. Demi is such a great artist and I’d definitely love to see her perform one day.
I was a massive JLS fan so seeing them live was great. I sawThe Script (with Tinie Tempah as the support act) a few years ago and they were amazing. Definitely know how to put on a show.
