I responded to a tweet looking for bloggers to review photo plaques made by Hayley. I had a look at Hayley’s Etsy shop and I was surprised at how beautiful the plaques looked and I knew I would definitely want to work with Hayley.
Hayley set up Happily Rustic after losing her previous job due to suffering with M.E. So by setting up this business it allows her to stay active, earn some extra money and not exert herself. Hayley’s favourite part about her business is getting to see all the happy and loving photographs she is sent.
Except for the sticker and the tape everything else is 100% eco-friendly, which I think is so important. Hayley uses reclaimed pallets and wood slices, so the shapes, colours and the bark can vary. The wood slices can have cracks or develop cracks in the future, but all adds to the rustic character of the plaque.
I decided to choose a photograph of my littlest sister, my niece and nephew. I decided on this photograph because I thought it would make a great gift for my mum to have. I got it in the post really quickly which like I have said in previous posts, I hate waiting for packages I am so impatient haha, so I was grateful and surprised at how fast it arrived.
The package came in brown paper sealed with a Happily Rustic sticker which is such a lovely touch. I love how the word rustic has a wood design.
I was so surprised at how beautiful it looks. It looks amazing! The photograph is clear and the effect on the photo suits the wood slice. I love how different it is to display a photograph . The plaques comes with a wooden stand, which means you can display the plaque securely and safely. The plaque also comes with an information card which has contact details for Hayley but also care instructions to ensure I can keep it in good condition.
If you are looking for personalised gifts for a special occasion or for Christmas, I would highly recommend Happily Rustic.
What photo would you put on a wooden plaque? I’d love to hear in the comments.
