Saying a little thank you with Bakerdays |Blogtober

I was scrolling through Twitter and came across Bakerdays tweet requesting for bloggers who would be interested in trying their products and of course I jumped at the chance. I mean who doesn’t want to try cake?

Bakerdays is based on the edge of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire and deliver great cakes all around the UK. Bakerdays was founded by Andrea Guzyova and Alan Hawkes. When you order your cake or cupcakes you also have the chance to order some other gifts such as; helium balloons, candles, to make your gift extra special.. They even offer exclusive student and apprentice discount. Bakerdays have an extensive list of different options for every special occasion and offer a personalised service as well.

Bakerdays sent me a letterbox cake, it came in this cute little tin, with an easy tab to remove the cake. It kept the cake safe and secure.

It came with a card that has a list of ingredients for your reference.

I decided that I wanted to surprise my mum with a cake to say thank you. The cake looked so pretty and my mum was so impressed with it. Myself, mum and my youngest sister shared the cake and it was very tasty! The sponge was moist and not dry, the jam tasted so fruity and complimented the cake well. We all could definitely eat a lot more!

IMG_8977.jpgThe floral bouquet looked so detailed and I thought it was a perfect design for a thank you cake. The colours were so bright and vibrant just like a bouquet.

I would highly recommend Bakerdays services, the cake was so yummy and the cake came so securely and i didn’t even have to wait in for it to be delivered as the letterbox cake can actually fit through your letterbox. How clever!

What is your favourite flavour of cake? I’d love to hear in the comments.

  1. Looks lovely and to say it’s in my neck of the woods, as I am from Nottinghamshire too, it’s first I have heard of them

  2. What a beautiful cake, and a lovely way to say thank you to your mum! Their cakes are so tasty, and this design is beautiful. Good choice! 🙂

  3. The Bakerdays cakes are just beautiful! They are beautifully decorated. I am amazed at how well they ship. The cake you have is exquisite. I bet the chocolate chip flavor is delicious.

  4. I love Bakerdays, I think the whole concept of cake through your letterbox is so clever. And the tab to help you lift out the cake is a genius touch. That’s so sweet of you to gift it to your mum, it’s such a pretty design too. I was lucky enough to work with them earlier this year for Alan’s birthday and I can confirm that the chocolate flavour is delicious 🙂 xx
