I love the excitement of a brand new year, the sense of an ultimate fresh start. New opportunities. You can make it anything you want it to be. A time to set new goals and learn from the year before.
There are some things I learned towards the end of last year that I am definitely going to continue working on in the new year. They are to stand up for myself and work on not comparing myself and become confident in my own abilities. This year I have a lot going on in regards to my employment but unlike last year, I am going to stay organised to post consistently on my blog and not let it take a back seat when life gets busier.
On a personal level, I want to work on my physio and what is going to help me live an easier life with the pain and fatigue that I have.
Of course as the year progresses I may set myself mini goals to achieve but I want to make sure I don’t put pressure on myself and make my goals realistic and productive.
Happy New Year to you all. What are some goals you have set this year? I’d love to hear in the comments.
Good luck with your goals! Making sure I get enough sleep is definitely one of mine too! And to try and stop procrastinating so I don’t get stressed at the last minute about things! x
Good luck with your goals! Hope you can post consistently 🙂 I find having a schedule works wonders for me!

Happy new year Lauren! These all sound like great goals, I’m with you on the exercise, I was pretty lazy over Christmas and ate too much so really need a health kick this month. It really helps with my anxiety too and I always feel really positive and motivated afterwards. I hope you have a wonderful 2019 and achieve everything you want to, looking forward to reading your posts this year lovely. Also, love your planner and the motivational quotes, it’s so pretty! <3 xxx

One of my goals for this year is to…stress less. 2018 was one of the most stressful years for me, physically and mentally. Being surrounded by the beauty of nature always puts me at ease, so I’m planning on going on more hikes this year.
I hope you have a less stressful year and get to go on lots of hikes! Thank you for reading and commenting
