I love the excitement of a brand new year, the sense of an ultimate fresh start. New opportunities. You can make it anything you want it to be. A time to set new goals and learn from the year before.
There are some things I learned towards the end of last year that I am definitely going to continue working on in the new year. They are to stand up for myself and work on not comparing myself and become confident in my own abilities. This year I have a lot going on in regards to my employment but unlike last year, I am going to stay organised to post consistently on my blog and not let it take a back seat when life gets busier.
On a personal level, I want to look after myself this year. I want to be more mindful about what I eat and move more. As exercising helps reduce my anxiety, inspires and motivates me. Also try and sort out my sleeping pattern and the amount of sleep I get to ensure its a healthy amount.
Of course as the year progresses I may set myself mini goals to achieve but I want to make sure I don’t put pressure on myself and make my goals realistic and productive.
