28 Things I want to do this year

Today is my birthday and today I turned 28. Instead of writing some things I have learned in the past year, I thought I would do something a bit different this year. You can read my 26 Things I learned in 26 years post. I thought I would share 28 things that I would like to do or achieve this year.

  1. I want to read at least 5 books
  2. I want to consistently save some money each month
  3. I want to go for an afternoon tea experience
  4. I want to go on a trip away somewhere
  5. I want to complete my qualification through work
  6. I want to join slimming world
  7. I want to take more photographs
  8. Try more new foods
  9. Bake more
  10. Post consistently on my blog
  11. Have a gym schedule in place
  12. Take more vitamins
  13. Journal each day
  14. Be more organised with my blog planning
  15. Try and practice more self-care
  16. Utilise my happy planner
  17. Have more confidence in my abilities
  18. Be organised with my christmas present buying
  19. See Hayley Kiyoko in concert
  20. See Hugh Jackman in concert
  21. Go on more walks
  22. Spend more time at the beach
  23. Use my camera more
  24. Spend more time outside
  25. Focus on my strengths and not my weaknesses
  26. Continue to know my own worth and stand up for myself
  27. Learn photoshop
  28. Revamp my blog

  2. Ah, happy birthday lovely lady! This is such a wonderful post, what brilliant aims. Although I think you can tick off a few of them already now? I would love to see Hugh Jackman in concert too, I bet he’d be awesome. And yes to spending more time on the beach, along with my garden the sea is definitely my happy place 🙂 Happy birthday again! xx

  3. Happy Birthday! I really like #25, focus on my strengths, not weaknesses. I think that is one all of us can relate to. I need to add that to my to do list.

  5. This is a wonderful list of goals, Lauren! 22-26 are my favourites, and things I think I’d like to do this year as well. I turned 28 in January, so I love this idea – might have to make one myself.

  6. There are so many things here that I totally want to do for myself as well, like having a more regular gym schedule in place, baking more, and posting regularly on my blog!! An afternoon tea experience sounds really lovely too xx

    I hope to read more this year too. I managed to read 5 books last year. So far I finished one book in 2019. Hope to read this year, maybe 10 books as a reading goal, but who knows, LoL. If you like thrillers YOU by Caroline Kepnes is one of the best and the tv series was perfectly adapted too.

    Omg, I actually saw Hugh Jackman on Broadway years ago in a musical called The Boy From Oz. What an amazing performer. Hope he comes back to Broadway again at some point.

    1. Yeah he is coming on tour in June and I am going to see him. I can’t wait!! Yeah I am 3/4 of the way through my first book so I am hoping to read at least 5! Thank you for reading and commenting!
