GIFTED| Bujo Box Review

My love for stationery means I also love bullet journalling. I first discovered bullet journalling when I watched Lily Pebbles on Youtube and then my auntie also shared her tips and best places to find resources, as I only knew what Lily had shared.

I came across Naomi and her social media where she was sharing her progress on creating the Bujo Box. I have been watching the boxes come together, which was so great to see. I love to see people so passionate about stationery like I am.

Naomi wanted to create a box to include a set up for you to be able to start bullet journalling straight away. There are 4 different themes which include different designs and colours. There is The Blogger Box, The Nature Box, The Inspo Box and The Brunch Box.

Naomi was kind enough to gift me a Bujo Box of my choice to show you all and share my thoughts. I decided to go with the Inspo Box because I loved the colours of the washi tapes and the design on the bullet journal.

The Bujo Box comes beautifully wrapped in tissue paper which is secured with a personalised Bujo Box sticker. Also on the top of the box is a card with the website.

The Bullet Journal

In the Inspo box it has the bullet journal with cute stars that are dark blue, baby blue and yellow. It is such a cute design. The writing on the front has calligraphy which I am loving at the moment. I chose this box because I do not have notebooks or bullet journals with this design. The paper feels such high quality and is bright white, it just looks so clean and fresh. I can’t wait to start using it. As you can see it is a dot grid notebook to make it easy for bullet journalling.

Washi tape

Each box comes with 2 different washi tapes, one glitter and one colour. The Inspo box comes with a beautiful gold glitter and a blue tape. They both compliment the bullet journal design so well. I love washi tapes they can make a notebook or a bullet journal look so pretty and colourful.

Quotes

The boxes come with quote cards, these are ideal for sticking into your bullet journal, to motivate and inspire. I like to write quotes using brush lettering, but I am still practising and it is so much easier to place these quote cards in. That way I won’t make a mistake in my lovely new bullet journal haha! They are also great especially if you do not feel confident designing them in your notebook free hand, or you would like to keep your bullet journal more simplistic. My favourite quote is “Be the girl who just went for it”.

Fineliner, pencil, ruler and rubber

Each box comes with these essentials. I love using fineliners to draw and write with in my bullet journals and all my notebooks. I think writing with fineliners looks neater and the ink is so bold. A ruler is an essential if like me you use your bullet journals for weekly, monthly spreads and habit trackers, as I am a perfectionist and I like all the lines to be perfectly straight haha. I don’t like making mistakes as I like my bullet journal to look pretty and neat therefore I will use pencil first for the outlines and then it is easy to correct. These essentials are all you need, you don’t have to have the biggest and most expensive pen collection to bullet journal.

Monthly spreads

Using this monthly spread with your bullet journal means you can start planning your month to stay organised. I like using monthly spreads, as I can plan my month and stay organised for appointments. Having this print means you do not have to write it all out, it is already done for you and can saves time.

Bullet Journal starter kit

This would have been so helpful when I first started bullet journalling. It explains different tools to use your bullet journal for. If you want to start bullet journalling but don’t know where to start, Bujo Boxes have everything you need and not intimidating.

Naomi sent me some yummy treats that I shared and a lovely card. I think a bit of personalisation makes all the difference.

If you would like to know more about Bujo Box or how you can get hold of one yourself, head over to Naomi’s blog and look over all the themes to choose your favourite. You can also find Bujo Box on Instagram and Twitter.

Thank you so much for gifting me this gorgeous box Naomi, you have done so well, I love it!

Have you already bought a Bujo Box? Do you bullet journal or want to start bullet journalling? I’d love to hear in the comments.

  3. What a lovely box of goodies and what a fabulous idea behind them. I know exactly what you mean about not knowing where to start at first. I was so daunted when I looked at all the gorgeous layouts on Pinterest that I put off starting my own BuJo for ages! And dot grid notebook really does make it much easier, I was given one by some stationery friends and it’s brilliant. Lovely review, Lauren, thank you for sharing 🙂 Lisa x

  5. I’ve heard of Bujo Box before but only the name, I didn’t know what they were. I think it’s great there’s something like this out there to help those get started with bullet journalling. Which is something I’ve wanted to try myself. Grest review.

  6. These look amazing! I am hoping to start a bullet journal in September when I go back to college- at the moment, I use a really pared down version but would love to be more creative as a form of self care! 🙂
