Happy Stationery Week! It is the last day of Stationery Week, so sad. But definitely doesn’t mean the end of stationery on this blog haha! Today is send a letter day and I thought I would put my own little twist on this day. I decided to send little letters in card form to some lovely bloggers.
With everything online and us all spending lots of time on social media, it is nice to put pen to paper and send cards! It’s always nice to get some unexpected mail. I thought that instead of buying some cards that I would use the blank cards I had from my Stampin Up’ collaboration and send some pretty homemade cards.
I sent 5 blogger friends a card and a personal message to bring a smile to their faces and send them a special thank you.
I used the flower stamps and coloured in the design to bring more colour to the card. I also used washi tapes because I mean who doesn’t love washi tape? I did different colours and tapes for each of my friends.
I hope you liked the cards Bexa, Lisa, Ruth, Naomi and Jay.
Do you like sending cards or letters? I’d love to have a pen pal, so if you are interested, let me know in the comments. I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you so much x
I absolutely love this idea. If I had time for a pen pal I would definitely get involved.
I love making cards and these are so cute x
It’s so much fun making cards x
The cards are just so cute with the washi tape on it. I like how you can color the pictures from the stamper. Cards always put a smile on someone’s face when they receive it.
Definitely, thank you
I’m so touched that you chose me to be one of the people to receive a card! It was really cute and the message in it gave me a much needed boost. Thank you again! 🙂 You are so lovely!
Aww I am so glad you liked it, I meant everything I said to you. X
These are beautiful cards Lauren. I love the look of that flower stamp and how you added a pop of colour to it. I’ve never made my own cards before, but this looks so simple. I’ve had a few penpals before but, for whatever reason, the letters from them just stopped. I miss snail mail.
Yeah the stamps are super easy and you can buy so many different types! I have never had a pen pal before xx
I love sending cards to people and thought I was weird for doing this. Good to know that there are others who also love sending letters and mail! So far I’ve sent one card to a blogger from WordPress, and I would love to send more mail the future. Right now I only send within Canada and to the US. What country are you from?
No it’s so lovely to write letters and receive them too. I am from England x
Oh, wow, who would not love this cards? I love the materials you used and how each stamp and piece of tape evolved into the finished card.
I really enjoy writing letters to my friends; a couple of us communicate only through hand-written correspondence and I love reading each meaningful piece I receive in the mail. The only thing I keep wishing for is for my handwriting to magically evolve overnight into calligraphy! 🙂
