I am always looking to achieve more, I think its a natural feeling to want to progress and challenge yourself. I work best when I have goals or targets in place, I then do not feeling too comfortable and I have something I am working towards.
As it is the last 1/4 of 2019 I thought I would set myself 3 mini goals to achieve by the end of 2019 to ensure I have the most productive few months. I know that this part of the year the evenings are darker, days get shorter and sometimes it is harder to keep the productivity and motivation high. I know by setting these mini targets keeps me focused.
My 3 goals are:
-
To loose at least 1 stone by the end of 2019 through Slimming World.
-
To have posted at least 1 more sponsored post before the end of the year.
-
Have all my blog content planned a month in advance.
Do you have any goals for the last 1/4 of 2019? I’d love to hear in the comments.
I have no doubt that you’ll be able to smash those goals, and writing them down in the best place to start.
Good luck and I look forward to hearing your update.
I haven’t got any as of yet but i do need to join the gym, I have 15 months to get in to my wedding dress and feel amazing!

I stopped setting myself goals a while back because it was too disheartening when I didn’t reach them, haha, but I think your mini goals are all totally achievable, this is definitely the way forward! Good luck, look forward to hearing how you got on in due course 🙂 Lisa x

Awesome goals! I don’t know how much 1 stone is in pounds, but I’m sure you can do it!! I try to set goals but then get discouraged and don’t do it. My goals would be more sponsored posts and definitely to be better at planning blog content. Look forward to hearing about your crushing your goals!!!💜

If I managed to lose 1 stone (13 lbs), I would reach my goal weight. I have been struggling to lose this weight all year. I am cheering for you – you will crush your goals! And having them written down keeps you accountable too. 🧘♀️🌱
I look forward to reading about how you crushed your goals this year in a future blog post! I too need to start planning blog posts in advance and to get off of the WP reader. It’s super addictive and I spend more time in the WP reader than I do writing content. 🤦♀️

Good luck with your goals! I agree this time of year, with the days getting shorter, it can be hard to stay motivated, especially when you get sleepy as soon as it gets dark. But I know that setting goals and letting the world know will help you stay accountable to those goals. In fact, that’s why I post monthly goal lists, to keep myself accountable. My current goal, or at least the one I am hoping will happen before the end of the year is to move.

These are great goals! I’d like to do number 3 as well – I usually schedule a week in advance currently. I think my goals are:
– Get loads of content from holiday
– Be financially able to go self-hosted and buy all needed blogger apps/services by January
– Start writing my Kenya memoir
Hopefully we’ll both achieve!

100% agree, I always feel like I’m at a standstill and should be progressing more than I am. I may have to make have my content planned a month in advance a goal of mine, always writing my posts the week of or the week previous! My main goal for this past bit of 2019 is to finally get offered a job in my field – job searching and applying is an actual struggle. I’ve been meaning to set goals in my bullet journal, so this was the perfect reminder!

I love your goals, and I am 100% sure you will achieve them. I am struggling with my goals since my operation, but I am hoping to:
1. Improve the use in my left arm, even if it is not completely fixable, I would like to be able to use it better.
2. Gain more followers and interactions on my blog.
3. Avoid hospitals until January 2020.
Great way to reduce the load of goal setting by doing it in quarters, great idea!

Good luck with your goals! I’m the same – I always have some kind of self-improvement thing going on in the background. I’m starting a journalism course in October, so my goal for the rest of 2019 is basically to keep up with the work for that – I think it’s going to be pretty full on 🙂
