3 Mini Goals Before The End Of 2019

I am always looking to achieve more, I think its a natural feeling to want to progress and challenge yourself. I work best when I have goals or targets in place, I then do not feeling too comfortable and I have something I am working towards.

As it is the last 1/4 of 2019 I thought I would set myself 3 mini goals to achieve by the end of 2019 to ensure I have the most productive few months. I know that this part of the year the evenings are darker, days get shorter and sometimes it is harder to keep the productivity and motivation high. I know by setting these mini targets keeps me focused.

My 3 goals are:

  1. To loose at least 1 stone by the end of 2019 through Slimming World.

  2. To have posted at least 1 more sponsored post before the end of the year.

  3. Have all my blog content planned a month in advance.

Do you have any goals for the last 1/4 of 2019? I’d love to hear in the comments.

  1. I have no doubt that you’ll be able to smash those goals, and writing them down in the best place to start.

Good luck and I look forward to hearing your update.

I haven’t got any as of yet but i do need to join the gym, I have 15 months to get in to my wedding dress and feel amazing!

  2. I love your goals! They are clear and concise. I have goals but have had trouble with the follow through. Thanks for reminding me to keep working towards them! Good luck!

  3. I have goals for this month . Taking things slowly as each month approaches but I have goals to reach 15k viewers on my Pinterest page.

  4. Awesome goals! I don’t know how much 1 stone is in pounds, but I’m sure you can do it!! I try to set goals but then get discouraged and don’t do it. My goals would be more sponsored posts and definitely to be better at planning blog content. Look forward to hearing about your crushing your goals!!!๐Ÿ’œ

    1. Thatโ€™s why I have started to use small goals so they are achievable and keep me focused. Thatโ€™s awesome goals to have. I am sure you will achieve them. Please can you link your most recent post so I can read ๐Ÿ–ค

  5. If I managed to lose 1 stone (13 lbs), I would reach my goal weight. I have been struggling to lose this weight all year. I am cheering for you – you will crush your goals! And having them written down keeps you accountable too. ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒฑ

I look forward to reading about how you crushed your goals this year in a future blog post! I too need to start planning blog posts in advance and to get off of the WP reader. Itโ€™s super addictive and I spend more time in the WP reader than I do writing content. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

    1. Thank you so much for sharing your goals!! I have planned all my blog posts up to the end of December except one post. It definitely has taken the pressure off. I have a post coming in October sharing my process of how I schedule blog posts and planning etc xx

      1. Keep doing what you are doing because it is working. ๐Ÿ˜‡ I really enjoy reading your blog posts and find them super helpful. Canโ€™t wait for the October blog post! ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒธ

  6. Good luck with your goals! I agree this time of year, with the days getting shorter, it can be hard to stay motivated, especially when you get sleepy as soon as it gets dark. But I know that setting goals and letting the world know will help you stay accountable to those goals. In fact, that’s why I post monthly goal lists, to keep myself accountable. My current goal, or at least the one I am hoping will happen before the end of the year is to move.

  7. These are great goals! I’d like to do number 3 as well – I usually schedule a week in advance currently. I think my goals are:
    – Get loads of content from holiday
    – Be financially able to go self-hosted and buy all needed blogger apps/services by January
    – Start writing my Kenya memoir

    Hopefully we’ll both achieve!

  8. 100% agree, I always feel like Iโ€™m at a standstill and should be progressing more than I am. I may have to make have my content planned a month in advance a goal of mine, always writing my posts the week of or the week previous! My main goal for this past bit of 2019 is to finally get offered a job in my field – job searching and applying is an actual struggle. I’ve been meaning to set goals in my bullet journal, so this was the perfect reminder!

  9. Sweet and simple goals! It is amazing seeing how simple one can make something and yet the feeling of accomplishment is always that warm, fuzzy feeling.

    Good luck!

  10. I like the idea of mini goals! You just reminded me that it’s time I sit down and plan the last 3 months of the year well. Can’t believe it’s going to be a new decade ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ totally supporting you and your goals! Thank you for sharing them with us ๐Ÿงก

  11. Good luck with your goals! I don’t think I could ever be organised enough to have it all scheduled a month in advance! I like the idea of setting these mini goals over a shorter period x

  12. Good luck with your goals! I’m the same – I always have some kind of self-improvement thing going on in the background. I’m starting a journalism course in October, so my goal for the rest of 2019 is basically to keep up with the work for that – I think it’s going to be pretty full on ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you so much! Oh wow! That sounds amazing. You doing that from home? I was thinking about doing something similar. Good luck with your course lovely. Please can you link your blog, when I follow the link in your name it says you donโ€™t have a website :/

      1. Thanks! It’s part time in a centre, two lessons a week plus some study at home ๐Ÿ™‚ I tried straight distance learning with no teaching, but found it really really hard. And absolutely, my link is inchingforwards.com ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. My end of the year goals is to find a new job that excites me, get back into my healthy eating and working out routine and lifting my blog up again! Keeping fingers crossed that you achieve your goals <3 xx
