It has been a couple of years since I have started calligraphy and it has been an on and off creative activity for me. But in the last year or so I have definitely been practising and experimenting more with different styles and various pens.
Youtube and Instagram videos have definitely been so helpful and teaching me the basics, tips and tricks. There were so many talented people who have helped me explore other styles of lettering. One of the Youtubers I enjoy watching is AmandaRachLee, I definitely recommend watching some of her videos, if you are a stationery lover.
I decided to try different styles of letters with my Unpin 0.2mm pen. I used all the letters of the alphabet to show the different ways to design each letter.
I enjoyed trying out these different styles and looking forward to using these letters in my titles for my upcoming Autumn months, monthly spreads.
Do you try different styles of lettering? What pens do you like to use? I’d love to hear in comments.
I really like the smaller nibs. It feels like I have more control. TY for the link, Im going to Amanda RachLee out. 💗
Definitely! Definitely check her out, she is so talented in bullet journalling design and lettering x
I’m literally in awe at every one of your bullet journalling posts! You’re very talented ☺️x
Aww thank you hun. I am still trying to practise more, so I can become more elaborate designs. X
I love the old school S! I remember doing that in elementary school and we always thought it was so awesome lol I have no creativity for these, but I love seeing other people’s unique designs and creations!

Oh my, that looks amazing.
I’m mostly a good old fashioned “some days I write beautifully and other days I can’t read my own writing” kind of gal 😋
Thank you so much! Aww haha
Your bullet journal posts are amazing!! They inspire me to continue working on my own bullet journal. You’re very creative! All of the styles look lovely! 💗
Thank you so much!! ❤️❤️
It is great that you have been practicing your calligraphy. I love the different techniques that you used! My favorite is the cursive types. I always love the default cursive with some kind of thick edge. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for reading*
I love calligraphy but I am simply no good at it. I think I might have to start using youtube to learn because I’d love to be able to write some of the stationary for my wedding.
You’ve done a great job x
I am still learning. YouTube is so useful x
I love watching calligraphy videos on instagram but I haven’t tried it myself – might need to pick up the pen and give it a go!
xx
Yeah give it a go x
Recently, I was given a check for cooking at a camp, and the hand-writing was beyond beautiful! I thought at first it had been printed but this man had written it with a sharpie pen, and it was like lettering from a copper plate.
Your letters here remind me of the writing on the check. Lovely!
If you do, tag me on Twitter so I can see your different designs! Thank you for reading and commenting xx
I love experimenting with different lettering – it’s taken me a lot of practice to get to a level I’m happy with but I’m determined to get there. I’ve been using Pinterest guides for mine as I’ve found it’s good for giving you a little more inspiration but I will be sure to check out the YouTube videos too! Xx
Thanks!
