My 5 Favourite Bullet Journal Pages

December bullet journal front cover page with colourful christmas trees, presents, stockings, stars, candles and stockings.

I have really loved getting back into bullet journalling this year, experimenting with simplistic layouts as well as more doodle based spreads. Both set up designs have pros and cons to using them in my monthly spreads. As we are in December and I am reflecting on all things in 2019. I have compiled a list of 5 pages that were my favourite to design in my bullet journal this year.

1. September Front Cover

I enjoyed designing this page although it is simplistic, I like the quote I added to the bottom of the page. I was able to experiment with my lettering and I think it was a great addition to the design. I enjoy using quotes in my bullet journal and notebooks. I had an autumnal theme, with the leaves and used autumnal colours to bring the design together.

2. October Mood Tracker

I have been enjoying using mood trackers in my monthly spreads. I loved designing my October set up. I wanted to use a Halloween theme. I loved designing these cute ghosts, I mean look how cute they are! This was my favourite mood tracker design. This was one of the favourites for my readers on October’s monthly set up too.

3. November Front Cover

I struggled to work out what I would design for November’s front cover. I wanted to have the colours for Autumn. So I thought I would design leaves, with a range of colours to mimic the leaves on the ground. I used different lettering with a drop shadow, I enjoyed this design and so did a lot of my readers of this set up on my blog post.

4. December Front Cover

This was my favourite front cover I have designed in 2019. I just think it is so cute and so Christmassy. I saw the original design on Pinterest by WellElla. It looked beautiful and I wanted to try and recreate the design for my bullet journal, I don’t think I did too badly! I knew I wanted my December monthly set up to be Christmassy. I started using washi tape during December’s set up. I have seen overlapping washi tapes before, so I wanted to try it out. I think it compliments the design well.

5. December Weekly Spread

Like the December front cover being my favourite design, this weekly spread was my favourite weekly spread to design also. I integrated a Christmas tree branch with baubles. It has such a Christmassy feel with lots of colour, which I love. I also used the same overlapping washi tapes throughout December’s set up, it adds texture to each page.

I enjoyed looking back at my bullet journal set ups and designs for 2019. I definitely see a progression in my designs and what I wanted for my bullet journal spreads. I am looking forward to starting new set ups for 2020!

What was one of your favourite themes or spreads from your bullet journal this year? I’d love to hear in the comments.

  1. Your October mood tracker was definitely one of my favourites. I love the cute ghost drawings. Seconded my your gorgeous December cover.

  2. Aww I love your mood ghosts. They’re so cute! I’m obsessed with Bujo. I use my Bujo as a place to collect ideas too. Planning to give my sis a Bujo kit this year.

  3. I loved everything about this but December especially. Been wanting to have and try my hands at a bullet journal/planner in a few years but always basically gave up. I have to have the right motivation for it.

    Thanks for this πŸ™‚

  4. Oh yes! I remember the October mood tracker, and December ornament set-up, and it is lovely to see them among your favorite journal pages! November’s leaves are so pretty . . .

Here is to a fabulous year of new designs and colors!

  5. I love this throwback post! You did a great job with your calligraphy. Love the connecting cursives. Oooh your October mood tracker is super creative! Love that it fits in with the overall theme as well. You do a great job with the front covers. I find it easier to do the covers starting in September because you have a consistent theme. Thanks for sharing your designs!

  6. I am LOVING all your spreads! They’re really pretty. I wish I had such pretty spreads but this year my bujo has been all about productivity and usage with no time for aesthetics haha.

  7. Thank you for providing pictures of your bullet journaling experience. Did you draw everything on your journal pages? I loved December the most, but it looks like it takes a lot of time to be creative – drawing, coloring, designing, etc. I love to include quotes that I print out from Pinterest and motivational stickers. Happy Blogging!

  8. Oh these are so cute! So Pinterest! I feel like the designs would actually be something you see on planners. You’re so talented! I feel like I could not keep up with a bullet journal as I’m not as creative and lack talent in the drawing department, I mean even my straight lines don’t come out straight! πŸ˜‚

Thanks for sharing your designs, they all look amazing doll!

  11. Oh my god. You are so creative! I have a bullet journal but I’m far from creative enough so haven’t touched it. My favourite out of these is definitely the October Mood Tracker. Such a cute idea. Thanks for sharing :3

  12. I love all of them especially the Mood Ghosts! The overlapping washi tape really does look so good, too! Can’t wait to see your 2020 pages. 😊
