Oh my goodness, it is so good to be back! I had to take a very immediate break from my blog and social media as I was extremely poorly. I have been on bed rest for over a week to avoid going to hospital. Trying to completely stop and rest I actually found really hard ha ha! I am so glad to be back on social media and my blog, I am of course taking it slow, but I have missed talking with you all.
I don’t know about you but I felt that April lasted for so long, I am happy to be back sharing my spread in my bullet journal for May. I wanted to make my spread bright especially as we have had some beautiful weather. I think this is one of my favourite spreads I have created.
I love how bright this front cover is! I have always wanted to do a bumble bee theme, I think it is so cute! So when Bexa sent me some bumble bee washi tape in our swap box, I knew I wanted to incorporate it into this design. I love layering washi tapes to add texture to the page.
For my habit tracker this month I decided to keep my habits super focused. As we are still in lockdown some of my regular habits are not important at the moment. I also decided to group certain habits together as they go hand in hand. I used one of my skinny washi tapes to decorate the spread and I used the orange and colours to match the theme. I love how bright and summery this spread feels.
This spread is always one I will include, I find it so useful to track my blog statistics, to see where I am progressing and where I may need to invest more time. I enjoyed designing different lettering. I love how bold the black looks against the lighter colours on the page.
I didn’t include a mood tracker for April as I didn’t think there was much point during lockdown. However, I missed filling one in and I do find it useful to track my mood over the month. I love how this looks and I think it will look awesome when it is completed. I kept the moods specific.
This idea is so useful in helping me post consistently over on my Instagram. Apart from a couple of days where I haven’t been well, I have continuously posted. Using a plan like this helps me stay organised and it means I have enough content to use on my grid. I have been really loving Instagram and I love how my grid looks. Are we Instagram friends?
I really enjoyed designing this set up and I am really happy with how it turned out. I am so grateful to be feeling well enough to share this with you. I want to say a massive thank you for all the lovely kind comments and to the awesome Steff for my lovely gifts to cheer me up. Make sure you are following her too! I hope you are all staying safe!
What are you looking forward to this May? I’d love to hear in the comments.
