As a blogger being on your phone is part of the job. There are so many tools and resources that can help you with producing killer content and growing your blog. Whether you are new to blogging or you are a blogger who wants to change that hobby into a business, there are helpful apps out there for you.

I have 8 must have blogging resources and tools to help you build your blog and to increase your traffic.
1. Buffer
This is an app that you can link to your social media platforms and schedule posts. This is really useful especially if you have a full time job, it means you can schedule promotional tweets for your blog posts and tweets to keep up your engagement with your followers. I have found the app really helpful to put out promotional tweets during different times of the day. I have a lot of followers from around the world and it has been really beneficial to schedule tweets during the night when I am asleep, this maximises the effectiveness of each tweet.
2. Unsplash
This is an app that shares free stock photos for creators to use that cover a range of themes. Stock photos are a great resource to use if you are struggling with photography ideas for a post. There are so many creative shots on there to help compliment your blog content. I use a combination go my own photographs and stock photographs from Unsplash. If you do use Unsplash images make sure you are crediting the original creator.
3. Canva
This is a must have app! This app has so many different free templates for all social media platforms that you can edit and make your own. There are various fonts and filters for you to experiment with. You can either use the templates that are already there or start from scratch. If you are new to blogging and are not yet confident in designing graphics from scratch, the templates are a great way to start. I use canvas for creating my pins for Pinterest. I have also used this app to create my media kit, if you are wanting to design one this is the app for you.
4. Moz
This website is a really helpful tool if you are wanting to take your blog more seriously and want to develop it into a business. This website allows you stay informed on your DA score, keyword rankings and other statistics. It explains all the terms and information. I currently use the free version, but you can pay for the services and have more features and resources to help you.

5. WordPress
I use WordPress for my blog, so it is really helpful that they have an app. This means I can reply comments on the go, read blogs and upload images quickly from my phone. This app is really easy to navigate and you are able to track all your information and if you want you can write a blog post all from your phone.
6. Google Analytics
Signing up to google analytics is a resource where you can track your statistics accurately and in real time, this is helpful if brands are wanting more insight into your audience. I have recently signed up to this, so I am excited to start tracking my statistics in more detail.
7. Social Media Apps
Social media apps are a blogger’s best friend. Social media allows you to promote your blog content, engage with your audience and reach out to brands to seize opportunities. I use Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and recently set up a Facebook page too. If you do not use social media I recommend using at least one platform to help boost your blog traffic and build a following.
8. The Bloggers Survival Guide
This is an eBook by Nic, it offers 6 chapters of great blogging tips and information to help you grow your blog. If you are struggling to understand SEO, how to monetise your blog or how you can write killer content, this book is for you. You can invest in your blog and building your business for a small £7.99, check it out here.
Do you use any of these apps or resources? What are you go to apps? I’d love to hear in the comments.

I love Moz! I specifically use ALL but Hootsuite; I had some issues the last time I tried the free version and nothing posted from the app. I use Buffer now and it gets the job done, but scheduling social posts definitely saves a lot of time and increases views – and my DA!
Canva and Unsplash are my faves!

We have created all of our Pinterest pins and other graphics for our blog with Canva.

I’ve used Usplash a few times for stock photos for my blog posts. Pexels is my absolute favorite!
I LOVE unsplash and I would be lost without Canva. I used it so much that it was only right I got the premium version. I tried out Hootsuite, but I made a switch to Buffer., which works great for me.
I still don’t know about spending money on Canva! Thank you for reading and commenting.
It’s not necessary if you’re not sure about it. There are still many great options you get for free! And no problem ♥
The only one I’ve used out of all of these is Canva and WP, and they’re definitely a must!! They both make blogging so much easier! I actually shared a similar post called: Tools For Blogging Success which I’d love for you to check out: https://zainabchats.wordpress.com/2021/01/10/tools-for-blogging-success/ Great post!! 😀
