When you hear about vegan food, most people think about faux meat! However, there are more snacks and sweets available nowadays, which you wouldn’t necessarily associate with meat or animals and they taste absolutely delicious! When I was researching vegan snacks, not only was I surprised by how many options there were, but how many products contained meat derivatives, that you wouldn’t realise were in there! Researching for this post has made me look more closely at the ingredients of the products that I am eating, so that I can make better and healthier choices.
Here are 4 different brands you can discover:
Food Of The Gods – Raw Chocolate
Food of the Gods is run by Dal, who lives in the town of St Just in Cornwall, with his wife, daughter, their dog and cat. Dal was inspired to make raw chocolate because of his love of chocolate and the fact that all the chocolate in the supermarkets was full of: sugar, fat, flavourings and very little cacoa content. He wanted to show people that his chocolate could retain all of the health benefits, which was great for him to be able to share with his clients as he worked for the NHS mental health department. Raw chocolate, or cacoa, is made from unroasted cacao beans, which helps to protect more of the nutrients within the cocoa bean. Cocoa has been used for thousands of years for its energising and health giving properties. Raw cacoa contains so many nutrients and chemicals that can improve physical health and aid wellbeing.
Coconut Milk Chocolate: The chocolate contains: organic cacoa solids, organic cacoa butter, organic coconut milk powder and organic date syrup (10%).
Spiced Organic Chocolate: This chocolate contains: organic cacoa solids, organic cacoa butter, organic date syrup (4%), sweet orange oil, Ceylon cinnamon and nutmeg.
Peppermint and Cacoa Nibs: This chocolate contains: organic cacoa solids, organic cacoa butter, organic date syrup (4%), peppermint oil and organic cacoa nibs.

These bars are delicious! I had never tried raw chocolate before, but I was really pleasantly surprised. I love the unique flavours that you can order and I really enjoyed these 3 flavours, which I was kindly gifted. It’s great that I can enjoy this treat whilst knowing that it is good for me! Ten Acre – Hand Cooked Crisps
The aim of launching Ten Acre was to provide enjoyable snacks that are high in fibre that can be enjoyed by everyone no matter their dietary requirements.
Ten Acre crisps are made using potatoes grown in the Ten Acre field at Fairfield’s Farm. The farm is family-run and has been running for three generations. The crisps are hand cooked on the farm to the highest standards which is why they are BRC (Grade AA) accredited. All the energy on the farm is from sustainable technologies. Even the extra sunflower oil goes to making biofuel.

I was gifted the Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, Sweet Chilli and Hickory BBQ. I love the packaging with the little story titles such as ‘When the Chilli Got Sweet’ and ‘The Story of When Cheese Met The Onion’! These vegan crisps are gluten, dairy and MSG free.
These crisps taste so good! I love how thick and extra crunchy they are, so much better than regular crisps I have brought in the supermarkets! I have eaten a lot of them already! The flavours are perfect and not too overpowering. I would definitely recommend that you try them.

I was kindly gifted the Original Mix pouch, the Bonbon Variety pouch and a Special Edition pouch. I was in sweetie heaven with this huge selection of vegan goodies that I could enjoy guilt free! They tasted delicious, even better as they were vegan! I am a sucker for a jelly sweet and was delighted to find vegan options that don’t compromise on flavour. My favourites were the fizzy sweets and they’ve been very popular in my house! I recommend looking at their website because there are so many options to choose from.

Doisy & Dam have 2 rules when it comes to their ingredients; firstly, they are palm oil free and secondly, they use naturally grown ingredients including cacoa sources from Columbia.

These chocolate flavours are ones I had not tried before and I was impressed with such a large range of flavours for everyone to enjoy. I love how bright and fun the packaging is. I really enjoyed these chocolates as they were a perfect accompaniment for a cosy, duvet day! The added bonus of the chocolate being both guilt free and environmentally-friendly, made the chocolate even more enjoyable. Knowing that I was only putting natural ingredients in my body made the experience even tastier! My favourite was the D&D’s Dark Chocolate Drops. If you are looking for some chocolate bundles, I would highly recommend Doisy & Dam.
At Fairfields farm the families have been farming in East Anglia for three generations. They harvest: potatoes, maize and rye from their farmland.
They cold store, wash, grade and bag 12 different potato varieties, which are then sold to wholesalers and retailers across the UK. Like Ten Acre, Fairfield Farm hand cook their crisps to the highest standard, which is why they are BRC (Grade AA) accredited.

I love the Bacon & Tomato and the Sea Salt & Black Pepper. These are not flavours that I have seen very often and they were totally delicious! The crisps are super crunchy and full of flavour. The packaging feels really high quality and I love the logo too. My household are definitely crisp fans and we weren’t disappointed! I highly recommend these snacks which are both vegan and gluten free, so they are suitable for all dietary requirements.
