National Stationery Week is always such a fun week for me on my blog and I get to see a lot of stationery-filled content online which is much fun to read as well as the opportunity to shop!

Do you love that new notebook feeling? The smell and the feel call me crazy, but a new notebook makes me so happy and that it why I love stationery so much. I am sure other stationery addicts can relate. It is one thing that I can always shop for because you can never have too many notebooks!

I have worked on blog post collaborations for National Stationery Week for 3 years and worked with some amazing stationery brands including Glitter & Earth.

Glitter & Earth is run by Jacqueline Wild, who is based in Cornwall. She offers a range of gorgeous, hand-designed stationery for you to treat others or yourself. Jacqueline first started drawing digitally o her iPad after the birth of her daughter. Her surroundings and the landscape inspires her a great deal and she wants her work to make people smile and to inspire them too.

Sustainability is an important aspect of Jacqueline’s small business and is the reason for the Earth part in the brand name. She uses organic cotton for her T-shirt designs as well as printing in a way that minimises waste. All her cards are sent wrapped in acid free, recycled tissue paper.

Jacqueline kindly sent me 3 of her new notebooks with her new, beautiful designs for me to share with you all. They would make a great gift for you or for a Christmas present. The notebooks I am sharing have: 35 sheets, alternate plain and lined pages, they are wire bound and are sent in a letterbox friendly and recyclable package. All of the notebooks are designed and illustrated by Jacqueline.

Butterfly Book of Wellness

Jacqueline used a butterfly because she says that the butterfly tells us how beautiful change can be as well as how messy and hard it can be too.

There are many ways you can fill this empty notebook. You could use it as a healthy habits tracker, a self-care tracker, track your sleeping habits, and use the empty pages as a mood tracker and many other uses especially if you want to track your wellness. This cover is a beautiful design with gorgeous colours and tones that complement one another.

The paper in these notebooks is thick, so not only feels like high quality, but also to stop ink bleeding and ghosting. The covers on the notebook are also thick, but are still able to be flexible, so that you can be comfortable when writing. The covers are made from 280gsm card which means they are able to be wiped clean.

  2. I love these – the designs are absolutely beautiful! I love having new notebooks too, it’s the best feeling – although I’m always worried about messing up that first page and ruining them! I’ve been meaning to set up a gratitude journal for a while now and this one looks amazing, and I love the stories behind each of the notebooks too. Thank you so much for sharing, I’m definitely going to check this store out x

  3. I cannot pick a favorite design as I love the different tones and colors on each journal! The hare is calling to me, though, and the idea of writing down things like PR contacts in a dedicated journal appeals to my sense of organization.
    Thanks for sharing!

  4. I’m torn between the hare and the stag but in all honesty they’re all beautiful designs. I know what you mean about the excitement of a new notebook – I live this feeling vicariously with Flora every month! xx

  5. I. Love. Stationery. And I really like the concept behind these notebooks (my favourite is the one with the stag on it — but they’re all beautiful). I will have to check out Jacqueline Wild’s work as I’ve got to support someone from Cornwall and that’s where I grew up and where my family lives!

  7. I don’t think there is anything more special than getting a new notebook, with crisp clean pages ready to be scribbled with ink. Even the smell of the paper gets me. These look like a great selection, I will be checking the company out.
