I love the feeling of a brand new notebook, well any stationery really. I am very much a stationery addict and love trying new products for planning and productivity.
This post is sharing the new notebook that has been added to the Dingbats* Earth collection and their new Ātopen Fineliners. Dingbats* is an eco-friendly stationery brand which makes handmade notebooks using vegan, recyclable and biodegradable materials. This notebook brand is actually the first and only to hold the EU V-Label certification that they are 100% vegan. How incredible is that? So you know when you buy from Dingbats* you are not contributing to the harm of the environment. As well as their great steps to keep their brand eco-friendly, they also donate 2% of the UK revenues go to WWF-UK.
Dingbats* created their Earth collection because of their love for the eco-system. They believe that with a conscious effort during production can result in respect and care for the planet. This collection brings awareness about how delicate some of these places are and how we can protect our eco-system.
All of the Earth collection notebooks have faux leather pearlescent covers that are 100% vegan certified and open up flat for easier use. Inside the notebook you will also find:
- 2 bookmarks
- Expandable pocket
- 184 numbered pages
- Last 16 pages are micro-perforated
- 3 index pages
- 2 key pages
- Future log
- Location infographic spread
- Pen holder
- Elastic closure
One of the jewels of Bolivia’s magnificent Eduardo Avaroa Nature Reserve, the Laguna Verde (or green lake) is famous for its beautiful emerald glow. Located at the foot of the great Licancabur volcano, the lake’s ethereal setting is distinctive of the entire regions beauty. This notebook is a tribute to this gorgeous reserve.
This notebook is bound pearlescent, PU-leather hardcover that is 100% vegan. The cover has an emerald green finish that mimics the lake’s own unique colours, topped off with a debossed nature scene on the front.
On the inside cover you’ll find an infographic that lets you explore the nature reserve. Furthermore, there is detailed information on this stunning region, along with a guide to what we can do to help save this remarkable corner of our beautiful planet.
I have never heard of this place before but learning about it through Dingbats* and since researching, this reserve is stunning. The notebook is not only beautiful but I love the paper quality. My Fineliners and my Tombow Dual Brush Pens do not leak or ghost on the paper.
The other notebooks in the Earth collection are: Glicine Artic, Sky Blue Great Barrier Reef, Tangerine Serengeti and Lime Yasuni.
The Dingbats* Ātopen Fineliner is the ultimate companion for your Dingbats* notebook. This set features four nib sizes: 01,03,05 and 08. The water-based pigment ink pen gives you a steady flow to give the best writing that is smudge free! These pens are perfect for writing, bullet journaling, doodling or even manga. They are perfect for all uses.
Their black fineliners are: fade proof, acid-free, bleed-proof, waterproof, xylene-free and even odourless. How great do they sound?
I love using Fineliners in my bullet journal and my Happy Planner. Not only do they give clear precise lines but it makes my writing clean and bold. I love having a range of nib sizes as it helps when bullet journaling. When you want to do smaller designs, the smaller nib sizes will keep your drawings looking intricate and smudge free. These are black fineliners but they also have:
- Dual tip pastel set
- Dual tip primary set
- Dial tip trend set
I love sharing vegan and eco-friendly brands. It is so important that we do out part to help protect the planet. If you want to see more reviews on other Dingbats* notebooks, I have shared about the Dingbats* Pro B5 notebook, the orange tiger and the grey elephant from their Wildlife collection.
If you are looking for the perfect 100% vegan notebook for writing, bullet journaling, journaling, or even a sketch book, their notebook collections are for you.
Have you brought from Dingbats* before? What would you use this notebook and fineliners for? I’d love to hear in the comments.
