A new month is a clean slate, a mini fresh start to change your mindset, your attitude and create new opportunities for yourself.
I like the clean, fresh feeling about going into a new month and setting positive intentions for the upcoming month. So, not only do I carry out a monthly reset, but I also like to create a positive mindset and work on my confidence for a successful month.
What are affirmations?
Affirmations refer to the practice of positive thinking and self-improvement. You are saying that a positive mental habits with affirmations will allow you to achieve success. This self-help strategy is used to promote your self-confidence and belief in your own abilities. You may have been using affirming behaviour without knowing it; for example, have you ever said to yourself, ‘All I can do is my best’, or ‘I have the ability to do this’? These are all affirmations that create the decisive mindset for success.
As you are moving into a new month, whether you had a successful previous month or not, you have the ability to have a rewarding month.

Why you should use monthly affirmations
At the start of a new month, it gives you the opportunity to reflect on the previous month, what a you achieved and what goals you would like to achieve in the upcoming month.
The positive affirmations are helping you disrupt negative thinking habits and develop a new routine in your brain for positive thoughts. Repeating affirmations regularly builds your confidence and your worth. The repetitive aspect is meant to influence and trigger your subconscious mind into positive action. It is that repetition of affirmations that leads to that self-belief, then that belief becomes a deep conviction and positive things happen.

These are such beautiful affirmations! Saving this post, friend! I think keeping positive affirmations in mind is so helpful and I often write certain ones, or inspiring quotes, on post-it notes on my desk and in my planner. It especially helps when I’m stressed or going through a difficult time, and it re-centers me in a way.

There’s a lot to like about this. I’ve tried a totally different approach to things since going back to work, which I think is an affirmation. I’m just determined to be almost relentlessly positive and it’s working.

It has been another rough start to this month so I’m not really feeling the positivity, and I think it’s times like that when we need things like these affirmations the most, yet we’re also the least inclined to use them when we’re feeling awful, stressed, exhausted, whatever.
