Whether you are new to blogging or have been blogging for a while, it can be difficult to grow your blog and it does take a lot of hard work. Unfortunately, there is not a hidden secret to building a business overnight.
A bullet journal can be so versatile and you can record different information. The bullet journal process is where I was first introduced to habit trackers.
Habit trackers are exactly what they say, they are a way of tracking your habits. The simple way to measure whether you completed a habit. There are plenty of theories you can find online about how many days it takes to form or break a habit. There is a 21/90 rule, this is where you commit to a habit for 21 days straight. It has said after the three weeks it should have become a habit. You then continue the habit for a further 90 days.
Success does not come overnight, there is no shortcut unfortunately. When I first started blogging I had the goal of collaborating with some stationery brands, for me working with brands I saw leading to a successful blog. A couple of years later and I am now being invited to events and working with some well known brands.
Bullet journalling has opened me up to a huge world of trackers, weekly spreads and fun creative page ideas. I was surprised at the size of the bullet journalling community when I first started journalling in 2017 and its even bigger now. There is even Youtubers who are sharing content all about bullet journalling.
For a lot of bloggers being able to work with brands they love is a goal they would like to achieve. If you are new to blogging or haven’t worked with brands before it can be daunting and you can be left confused as to what your first step should be.
I have been extremely fortunate to work with some incredible brands and I am more than grateful. However, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been turned down or had e-mails ignored before. It unfortunately comes with the territory.
I like to plan, I always have been a planner. I like to know what is happening in the week ahead and the feeling of being organised and prepared. I don’t know what it is about the start of the new year, but it always makes me want to go a little bit planner crazy ha ha!
The start of a new month and a new year, means a fresh start in my diary and my bullet journal. I get all excited when I get out all my stationery to plan my week, all you stationery lovers will know this feeling well ha ha!
