It is nearly half way through December and I cannot believe it’s close to the end of 2019. This year has definitely flown by and this year has been great for my blog. I am wanting to reflect on 2019. Reflection is key to appreciate what you have achieved and the progression you have made. I have definitely pushed myself out of my comfort zone and taken more accountability with my blog and creating a strict schedule. I have gathered a list of my favourite 5 blog posts that I worked on this year.
Winter is here! The cold weather is drawing in, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself or have fun family days out. You can utilise the weather! I am definitely going to try and tick off as many of these as I can.
The Christmas period can be expensive but it doesn’t need to be. You can have a wonderful holiday without having to worry about financial pressures. I usually worry each year about buying enough for my family members, I want to treat them as much as I can. But I have to remind myself it is not all about the presents and money, it’s the thought and spending time with them that really matters. I actually started Christmas shopping early, for the first year in a long time and it has definitely taken the pressure off. I have compiled a list of tips to stay on budget, I hope these can help you if you are finding it stressful.

Self-care has become a well-known term and I think that people are now making themselves a priority. How many times have you cancelled something you had planned to be there for someone else? Or when was the last time you said no? Sometimes it is easy to forget about yourself because you want to make sure everyone else is okay.
It is okay to put yourself first!
On the 10th of this month it is World Mental Health Day. An extra chance to raise awareness about the importance of mental health. I think it is so important for people to talk about as it touches so many peoples’ lives.
*I was kindly gifted this experience, however all views and opinions are my own. Some photos were provided by the hotel, others are my own.
Living in Bournemouth for 19 years I am always happy when I find or I am told about somewhere new, a hidden gem! Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel is definitely one of those!
The Bournemouth West Cliff Hotel is situated in the town centre on Durley Chine Road. I was invited by them to experience their Sunday brunch. I was so excited and thought this was the perfect way to spend my Sunday afternoon with my mum and littlest sister.
