With any season there are things that I love and things that I hate about it. I know for many on my social media timelines are moaning about Winter, they want it to be Summer. But there isn’t much I dislike about Winter, it is one of my favourite seasons, I know many would disagree ha ha! I have come up with a list of the things I love and hate about Winter, so see if you can relate to any of these.
Around this time of year the weather is colder and I don’t know about you but my skin has a bit of a freak out ha ha! My skin can become dry and tight and just looks a bit sometimes. So I love a night in with a bit of pamper and I definitely treat myself to more of these evenings during Winter.
It is nearly half way through December and I cannot believe it’s close to the end of 2019. This year has definitely flown by and this year has been great for my blog. I am wanting to reflect on 2019. Reflection is key to appreciate what you have achieved and the progression you have made. I have definitely pushed myself out of my comfort zone and taken more accountability with my blog and creating a strict schedule. I have gathered a list of my favourite 5 blog posts that I worked on this year.
Winter is here! The cold weather is drawing in, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy yourself or have fun family days out. You can utilise the weather! I have complied a list of 40 different activities that you can participate in and make some wonderful memories with your family or friends this winter. I am definitely going to try and tick off as many of these as I can.
The Christmas period can be expensive but it doesn’t need to be. You can have a wonderful holiday without having to worry about financial pressures. I usually worry each year about buying enough for my family members, I want to treat them as much as I can. But I have to remind myself it is not all about the presents and money, it’s the thought and spending time with them that really matters. I actually started Christmas shopping early, for the first year in a long time and it has definitely taken the pressure off. I have compiled a list of tips to stay on budget, I hope these can help you if you are finding it stressful.
This is a very different post to what I would usually share on my blog, but I thought my blog is a great platform to increase awareness regarding aspects of mental health and the avenues of help and support that are available to you.
I can’t believe it is already December and is going to be Christmas soon. I am so excited! I can’t believe that 2019 is in it’s last month, where has the time gone? For me, this year has definitely been one of the fastest years that I can remember. I really enjoyed getting creative with this months set up and excited to see what you think.
There is no right or wrong way of blogging, it is an individual journey, however there are certain blogging mishaps you will want to avoid making. I thought I would shed some light on these mishaps, if you are new to blogging you are definitely going to want to avoid making these mistakes. There is still so much I am learning from my blogging journey and looking forward to learning more.
Christmas, the festive season can be a joyous occasion, but with so much going on it is so hard for it not get stressful sometimes. At this time you want to be able to enjoy the build up to Christmas. I have in previous years left most things to the last minute and it is always such a rush and end up stressing about everything. When I first started blogging up until about three months ago, I would blog whenever I had the inspiration and it would lack so much consistency with the days and times I was posting. Three months ago I decided to put a strict schedule in place for my blog and it has helped me stay organised. Having a schedule also means I can plan my blog content ahead of time. This way of working has been so helpful for me, it has been stress-free and I have been enjoying blogging so much more. I haven’t had the blind panic of what to post and what to write about, which is sometimes what used to happen ha ha!
