I came across a post by Jay over on his blog where he wrote about what he loves about his blog. It made me think about what I love about my blog and what I love about blogging. Jay encouraged me to share my loves, I thought it would make such a positive post and highlight some the positive aspects from my view to potential new bloggers.
Meeting new people
The blogging community is such a welcoming community. Twitter is such a great tool for meeting new people and bloggers. The other bloggers will share and post about your blog posts, check up on you when you are not well or feeling down. People I met have been so supportive of my blog. I have made some lovely friends since I started blogging and I am very grateful for them.
Since I start blogging, I have read more. There are so many bloggers out there with interesting content. I enjoy reading books, but I also like the freedom of picking up my phone and reading blog posts on the go. Not only is it great to get inspiration and motivation but it supports bloggers when reading and leaving comments.
Ever since I was a child I loved colouring, drawing and writing. I was the child that would pick all the stationery products and sets out of the Argos catalogue for Santa to bring me haha. I love that my blog allows me to be creative, with writing and taking photographs.
If you follow my blog or any social media you will know that I love stationery ever since I was a young child. So I never really need an excuse to buy stationery, however blogging does give me another reason to buy pretty notebooks, planners and pretty coloured pens. It is a great way to stay organised also.
I have been incredibly fortunate to work with some amazing brands. I love that in this society now blogging can be a career and it can open up so many opportunities. There are so many bloggers who are hugely successful, it is inspiring and motivating to know that you can take your blog wherever you want it to go.
There are a few things I love about blogging, what do you love about blogging or your blog? I’d to love to hear in the comments.
